What are some common black and white birds?

Some common black and white birds include black-capped chickadees, black and white warblers, downy woodpeckers, hairy woodpeckers and penguins. All of these birds are found in the wild in the United States, except penguins, which only can be seen in Antarctica, Australia, Africa and South America.

Black-capped chickadees have black heads, white cheeks and gray coloring elsewhere. Black and white warblers have striped white and black feathers throughout their bodies. Downy woodpeckers are distinguished by their black and white striped wings, their white breasts, and a small red spot on their heads. Penguins generally have tuxedo coloring, with black backs and heads and white breasts.
