What are some common issues with Hoover WindTunnel vacuums?
By Forinfos - 26/04/2026 - 0 comments
A Hoover WindTunnel vacuum can lose its suction power. A congested filter, blockage behind the brushroll or an obstructed side tubing causes this problem. If the brushroll stops, it is because the belt is wrapped loosely around the brushroll, bearings have overheated and failed, or a brushroll is congested.
Hoover WindTunnel vacuums may produce a burning smell caused by a slipping belt. A congested brushroll causes the belt not to spin freely. As such, the belt is worn out and emits a burning smell. A clog in the machine causes a whining sound. Check the airflow path and the bottom plate for any blockages to repair.
