Kitec plumbing equipment was installed in approximately 10,000 homes throughout the Pacific Northwest. These systems typically utilize the hot water tank as a home heating source and a circulator that pumps heated water to wall heaters within the home. Common problems with these systems include ineffective heating, poor efficiency and bacteria growth within pipes. These systems are also known for leaking pipes and burst fixtures that have caused considerable damage to homes.
