What are some common problems experienced by owners of Ford F250s that run on diesel?

Many Ford F250 owners experience issues with the 6.0L Power Stroke diesel engine, including turbo failure, EGR cooler failure, sticking VGT vanes and oil rail plug leakage. Some owners also experience problems with the fuel injection control module and excess wear and tear on the injector harness and FICM harness.
Most Super Duty trucks manufactured with the 6.0L diesel engine only experience problems when the engines are modified to surpass factory stock power levels. The 6.0L engine does not respond well to the increased RPM, heavier fueling and higher cylinder pressure that accompany turbo modification, so many owners who have attempted power adjustments have engine problems.
