Common repairs for pull-down faucets are for nozzle leaks, loss of water pressure and rusting. Other repairs are for frayed tubes, non-retracting hose and stuck handles. Most of these repairs are small and do not require major replacement parts.
Leaks are the most common problem with pull-down faucets, which happen due to an old or a loose aerator screen. Loss of water pressure occurs due to buildup of mineral deposits inside the faucet. General wear and tear with rusting sometimes happens with prolonged use and may affect the overall finish or result in difficulty moving levers or spray heads. The faucet’s flexible tubing can fray with use and start to leak.
