As of 2015, the annual percent yield, or APY, rate on a 2-plus year Community Bank certificate of deposit is 0.20 percent. The APY on a 60-month term CD is 0.80 percent.
Community Bank requires minimum deposits depending on the length of the CD. For instance, 7 to 29 day CDs require a $25,000 minimum deposit; 30 to 181 day CDs require a $2,500 minimum deposit; and 182 days and over CDs require a $1,000 minimum deposit. The APY on Community Bank CDs are subject to change at any time at the bank's discretion prior to opening it; however, once a CD is opened, the rate does not change until it matures.
