Money Morning has received many negative reviews and complaints. Its services have been described as misleading and unethical, and some users consider it a scam. Money Morning has also been accused of lacking legitimate information sources and using fear-mongering tactics in an attempt to secure consumers' subscriptions.

Money Morning is also known as Money Map Press. The Better Business Bureau has given Money Map Press an A+ rating, but the company has not been accredited. As of September 2015, 42 formal complaints against the company have been filed with the BBB, 33 of which have been closed in the last 12 months.
