As of 2015, one of the best Costa cruise routes is the Caribbean voyage. This cruise stops at many of the tropical island ports in the area, including Antilles, Barbados, Dominican Republic; Cozumel, Mexico and Freeport, Bahamas.

Costa's Caribbean cruise stops at all the major ports and arranges a variety of excursions for the passengers. For instance, at the Grand Caymans, passengers can go scuba diving, snorkel around ship wrecks or swim with stingrays. The ship docks at Ocho Rios, Jamaica, as well, where visitors can hike to Dunn's River Falls, zipline over the rain forest or go raggae rafting. The Virgin Islands boast two port of calls: St. Thomas and Tortola. These two destinations offer passengers activities that range from duty-free shopping and touring to hiking and snorkeling.

The Caribbean cruise stops at ports in Mexico and Central America as well. Cozumel, for example, offers beaches, museums, nature excursions and food tours. The ports located in Central America include Belize, Puerto Limon in Costa Rica and Roatan in Honduras. Roatan, an island off the coast of Honduras, has a rich history of piracy. Visitors can snorkel around shipwrecks, set sail on the Jolly Roger or enjoy a dolphin encounter.
