Where are constellations found in the Bible?
By Forinfos - 07/08/2025 - 0 comments
Biblical references to constellations include verses that mention them by name or refer to them in general. In the New Testament, the Book of Acts makes reference to Gemini, calling the constellation "the twins."
Job 9:9 questions whether man can create constellations, referring to God as the maker of the Bear, Orion and the Pleiades. Some Bible scholars assert that Job 38:32, which mentions a constellation in its season, refers to the signs of the Zodiac.
Job 38:31 asks again whether a man can hold or move the constellations. Amos 5:8 and Isaiah 13:10 also refer to the stars, and also attribute the power to cause darkness and to bring morning sunlight to God.
