The fly-by-wire cockpit controls, mode control panel, flight management system/control unit and the primary flight display are a few of the controls located in the cockpit of a plane. Each control helps the pilot manage and change different functions of a plane.

The mode control panel controls the speed and navigation of the plane, as well as the ability to engage and disengage the autopilot and auto throttle of the plane. The flight management system/control unit is used to check and adjust the flight plan, the speed of the plane, navigation and more. The fly-by-wire cockpit controls are used for engine thrust, flying surface and to control the aircraft braking system.
