How do you convert a GIF to a JPG?

Use an online file converter, such as Zamzar, to convert a file from one extension, such as GIF, to another, such as JPG. You'll need your file, Internet access and an email address.

1. Go to the file conversion website

   Using a Web browser such as Safari or Internet Explorer, go to Zamzar.com

2. Select and upload your GIF file

   Click on the Choose File button. Find the GIF file that you want to convert, and click open. This action uploads the file to Zamzar.

3. Choose JPG from the drop-down menu

   Click the arrow to the right of the menu that says "Convert files to," and select JPG.

4. Enter your email address and convert

   Enter your email address in the box under Step 3. Click the Convert button under Step Four. A link to the JPG file is then emailed to you.

5. Follow the link

   Open your email. Find the email and link from Zamzar. Click the link to download your file.
