How do I cook Ramen noodles in the microwave?

Ramen noodles are often cooked on the stovetop. However, the noodles can easily be prepared in the microwave as well.

1. Break noodles and place them in a bowl

   Place the noodles in a microwave-safe bowl after breaking the noodles while still in the package.

2. Put water in the bowl

   Fill the bowl with enough water to cover the noodles.

3. Microwave the noodles

   Place the noodles in the microwave for four minutes on a high setting. Allow the noodles to sit for three or four minutes before removing them from the microwave.

4. Add the flavor packet

   Open the flavor packet and pour it over the noodles. Stir the noodles before eating.
