Examples of games for boys include a "sword relay race," "island scurry" and "cops and robbers." These games are appropriate for boys ages 4 to 11.

The "sword relay race" is played by dividing the boys into teams and giving each team a bowl of 20 plastic gold coins. Two more baskets or treasure chests are set at the opposite end of the room from the teams of boys. The first boy in each team gets a foam sword and has to balance coins on the sword in order get them to the other end of the room and into the treasure chest. As soon as the coins are dropped in the chest, the boys run back and give the next player on each team the sword. The first team to deposit all of the coins into the treasure chest wins.
