Could a 10- and 11-year-old make a cheerleading group with children under 7?

Ten- and 11-year-old children cannot compete in the same cheer group with children under seven unless the group participates at level 3 or higher. USAF rules place these age groups in different competition categories at levels 1 and 2.

At levels 3 and above, the first age category is for children 11 and younger. Not all cheerleading associations allow very young children to compete at level three, restricting their Tiny and Mini-aged competitors to levels 1 and 2. Cheerleading competitions have the right to require proof of age for any competitor they suspect may be too old or too young for his or her division.
