Could a fuse be the cause of a heater blower not working?

Blown fuses can often be the cause of a motor blower failing to work. Other causes for a non-working motor can include a malfunctioning resistor or a non-working fan motor. Blown fuses can generally be located under the dashboard in the driver or passenger compartment.
If the blower motor fan does not work it can be an indication of a blown fuse, but if the motor works at low or high speed, but not both, a resistor problem is indicated. Depending on the type of fuse, most can be inspected visually or by the use of a standard fuse tester available at many auto parts stores.
