According to the Billboard list which rates songs based on radio play, sales, and streaming data, the most popular country song of 2014 was "This is How We Roll." The song is from Florida Georgia Line and features Luke Bryan.

Each of these artists also placed an individual song on the Billboard Top 5, with the Florida Georgia Line's "Dirt" taking the third position on the list and Luke Bryan's "Play it Again" ranked fifth. According to Rollingstone.com, however, Kenny Chesney's "American Kids" was the best country song of 2014. Spin Magazine's end-of-year list featured many of these songs but ultimately put Kira Isabella's "Quarterback" at the top of the ranks.
