What is the best credit score range you can fall into?
By Forinfos - 15/04/2026 - 0 comments
The best FICO credit score range as of 2015, commonly known as "excellent credit," is between 720 and 850, according to Investopedia. While some lenders have other thresholds, consumers with scores in this range are generally offered the best interest rates on home, auto and personal loans.
The reason consumers with excellent credit receive the best loan offers is that lenders view them as relatively low-risk, according to Investopedia. To achieve such a high score, someone normally has to demonstrate consistent borrowing responsibility over a period of time. A "good" credit score as of 2015 is 690 to 720, and a "problem" credit score is 650 to 690.
