How do you crop images in Microsoft Paint?

To crop an image using Microsoft Paint on Windows 7, first open the image in the application. On the Home tab under the Image group, click on Select. Click and drag the mouse pointer over the area of the image you want to keep, and then click Crop.

1. Open Microsoft Paint

   Click on the Start button. Under All Programs select Accessories, and click on Paint.

2. Open the image

   Click on the Paint button then click Open. Navigate to the image you want to crop, select it, and click Open.

3. Crop the image

   Click on the Home tab then, under the Image group, click on Select. Click and drag the mouse pointer over the image area that you want to keep, and click on Crop.

4. Save the cropped image

   Click on the Paint button, and select Save As. Type in your preferred file name for the image, and click Save.
