What is a cross-section drawing?
By Forinfos - 21/02/2025 - 0 comments
A cross-section drawing is a drawing that shows a cut-away portion of an object. This type of drawing is ideal for showing hidden objects within a device.
A cross-section drawing is often used in diagrams or in documents detailing the installation or functioning of a particular object. Cross-section drawings are easy to make and many have diagonal lines running through them to illustrate where the object was cut. Cross-section drawings can show a small piece or half of an object and can show as much or as little detail as necessary. They can also portray the rotation of inner parts, if applicable.
