Where are crush washers that are used on brakes?

Crush washers are generally used on the brake hose that connects to the caliper. Washers are used to help distribute the load between the bolt and caliper and keep the brake line connected to the caliper.
To find the crush washer on a vehicle, use the following steps.
- Raise and secure the vehicle
- Turn the steering wheel
- Inspect the caliper
Use a jack to raise the vehicle. Place a jack-stand under the car to support the load and remove the wheel.
Unlock the steering wheel and turn it. Position the wheels so the caliper is facing outwards.
The caliper has a brake line protruding from it. Inspect it to see the crush washer, which is positioned under the brake line.
