What materials are used in the brickmaking process?
By Forinfos - 06/06/2025 - 0 comments
Bricks are made from fired clay, manganese, barium and barium carbonate. The raw materials are combined and formed into bricks and then fired in a kiln.
The raw materials are crushed and mixed with additives for strength and color. The next stage adds water and the actual bricks are formed in a mold and pressed. After they are formed and pressed, they are chambered and dried before they can be fired.
During the firing process, the bricks are loaded onto cars and then moved into large furnaces or tunnel kilns. The final step in the process involves setting the bricks and packaging them.
