Where is Cupertino located?

Cupertino is a city in Santa Clara County in California. Cupertino is located near the western border of the state, directly west of San Jose, south of Saratoga and north of Los Altos. The westernmost part of Cupertino's area extends into the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Several streams run through Cupertino on the way to the San Francisco Bay. The city has a total area of about 11 square miles, and it lies at an elevation of about 230 feet above sea level. The city had a population in excess of 58,000 people as of 2010, with a population density of more than 5,000 people per square mile.
