How do you cure nail fungus fast?

To get rid of toenail fungus fast, start with a baking soda soak to neutralize the fungus. Follow with a tea tree oil rub to get rid of the fungus. It can take several days or a couple of weeks to eliminate the fungus, depending on the severity of the condition.

1. Create a baking soda soak

   Heat up 4 cups of water, and add 1/2 cup of baking soda, 1/2 cup of Epsom salt and 1/4 cup of hydrogen peroxide to the hot water. Stir until the baking soda and Epsom salt dissolve.

2. Finish mixing the soak

   Pour 1/4 cup of white vinegar into the soak, and stir.

3. Soak the toe

   Immerse your toe completely in the soak, or submerge your entire foot. Soak the toe or foot for 10 minutes.

4. Rinse off your foot

   Remove your toe from the baking soda soak, and rinse it with warm water. Dry your foot thoroughly, as moisture promotes the spread of fungus.

5. Mix the tea tree rub

   Pour 1 tablespoon of olive oil into a small container. Add a few drops of tea tree oil, and mix. Tea tree oil has antifungal qualities that can help cure the toenail fungus now that it is neutralized.

6. Apply the tea tree rub

   Soak a cotton ball in the rub. Swab a generous amount onto the affected toenail.

7. Scrub the toenail

   Allow the tea tree rub to sit for 10 minutes. Use a soft toothbrush to scrub the fungus off of the nail. Repeat both processes twice daily until the fungus is cured.
