As of March 2014, Wladimir Klitschko is the current heavyweight boxing champion. The Ukrainian fighter currently holds the top spot in both the WBO and IBF rankings and has held at least a piece of the top spot since he first claimed the IBF title in 2006.

Standing 6 feet 6 inches and weighing nearly 240 pounds, Klitschko is a physical force who has dominated the heavyweight scene for years. "Dr. Steelhammer" first gained international recognition with his gold medal-winning performance in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. He has suffered just three defeats in his professional career, with 52 of his 61 victories resulting from KOs.
