Who is the current Miss World?

As of November 2014, the current Miss World is Megan Young. Young holds the title as the first Filipino to ever win the title of Miss World.

Born in Virginia, she moved to the Philippines at a young age with her parents as this is where her mother hailed from. As of 2014, she attends college at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde in Manila, where she is pursuing a degree in the film industry. She was first noticed when she placed in the top six on the reality show called "StarStruck." Before being named Miss World, Megan played roles in various films and television shows including the "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition 2."
