As of Jan. 1, 2015, the tallest active player in the NBA is Roy Hibbert. The 7-foot-2-inch center began his professional career with the Indiana Pacers during the 2008 to 2009 season and has remained a member of the club since.

Hasheem Thabeet, who is 7 feet 3 inches tall, was the tallest player during the 2013 to 2014 season.

Other active players in the NBA standing at least 7 feet 1 inch tall include Tyson Chandler, Marc Gasol, Timofey Mozgov, Spencer Hawes and Meyers Leonard.

The tallest players in the history of the league are Manute Bol and Gheorghe Muresan. Both were 7 feet 7 inches tall.
