How do you cut marble?

To cut marble, install a diamond blade on a wet saw, and feed the marble into the saw slowly. You need a straight edge, a pencil, a wet saw, water and a diamond blade.

1. Mark the spot where the cut needs to be made on the marble

   Determine where the cut needs to be made, and use a straight edge and pencil to draw a line at that spot.

2. Prepare a wet saw

   Install a diamond blade into a wet saw, and follow the saw manufacturer's instructions on how to properly fill the unit with water and set up the safety guards.

3. Cut through the marble slowly

   Align the line you drew on the marble with the saw, and turn on the power. Push the marble through the blade slowly.
