Dacor is a family-owned kitchen appliance company based in Northern California. The company's appliances are made in America and cater to customers who want a luxury kitchen. The company has won multiple industry awards and introduced the first self-cleaning, built-in wall convection oven in 1987.

Dacor was founded in 1933 by Stan Joseph when he opened his first small-appliance store. Joseph went on to invent a kitchen ventilation system and an indoor electric barbecue. Joseph's family members went on to lead the company; his sons, Michael and Anthony, joined the business in 1971, eventually becoming CEO and president respectively. As of 2015, Michael's son, Stephen, is president and chief operating officer.
