You can check the deadline for filing a 1099 tax form and many other tax forms on the IRS website, reports the IRS. As of 2015, the filing deadline for the 1099 form is March 31.

To check the filing due dates, go to the IRS website and select the Business option. The due dates are listed under the Small Business category. There is also a listing for when tax deposits are due for monthly tax payments, semi-weekly deposits and federal unemployment taxes. Instructions and links to forms are also available alongside the form's listed due date, the IRS says.
