Shirley Strawberry's radio career began in the mid 1980s when she co-hosted the "The Doug Banks Show" on Chicago’s WCGI-FM. Strawberry then moved to KKBT-FM in Los Angeles before becoming the co-host of "The Steve Harvey Morning Show" in 2000.

Shirley Strawberry was born in Chicago and married entrepreneur Ernesto Williams after a surprise engagement that was broadcast on-air during "The Steve Harvey Morning Show." Strawberry has made a name for herself as an entertainment executive and television producer and has worked with Nickelodeon, Wolf Films and Uptown Entertainment. Steve Harvey has said that Strawberry has the best voice in radio.
