"Go! Foods" is a registered trademark of the Cleveland Clinic that identifies healthy foods that are 100-percent whole grain, trans-fat free, and have minimal saturated fat, sugars, syrups and sodium. The Cleveland Clinic notes that it devised Go! Foods to help consumers make smart choices.
According to The Nemours Foundation, fresh Go! Foods include fruits and vegetables, grains, dairy products and such proteins as meat, fish, beans and nuts.
Packaged products can be Go! Foods, too. The Cleveland Clinic partners with a number of food producers to make these items available. It encourages consumers interested in healthy eating to look for Go! Foods labels on the products they purchase.
