What is the definition of input devices?
By Forinfos - 18/09/2025 - 0 comments
When dealing with computers, an input device is defined as any hardware which allows for information, data or input to be transmitted to the computer. This could be anything from a keyboard and mouse to a barcode reader.
Input devices vary widely in their form and function, but without them, a computer would merely display images rather than allow user interface or data entry on any scale. Modern input devices which have begun seeing greater use and development are biometric, or finger print scanners, video capture devices and even more than a few virtual reality headsets, some of which are in their final development stages.
