How do you delete apps on an iPhone?

The easiest way to delete an app on an iPhone is to hold down the app's icon until it wiggles, tap the X that appears on the app and confirm the deletion. Apps can also be deleted from within the Settings and iTunes apps if preferred.

1. Hold down the app's icon

   Press the icon of the app you want to delete, and continue to press down until all the apps on your iPhone start to wiggle.

2. Tap the X

   An X appears on the top left corner of every icon that can be deleted. Icons that are required by the iPhone's system don't wiggle or get an X. Tap the X of every app you want to delete.

3. Confirm the deletion

   A pop-up dialog box appears asking if you really want to delete the app. If you do, tap Delete. Press your home button to make the icons stop wiggling.
