How do you permanently delete your Facebook account?

To permanently delete your Facebook account, go to the Facebook Help Center, then click on Manage Your Account. Choose Deactivating, Deleting and Memorializing Accounts, and click How Do I Permanently Delete My Account? Click the Let Us Know link, then select Delete My Account.

1. Go to the Facebook Help Center

   Log into your Facebook account. Click the arrow for the drop-down menu next to the privacy icon. Click Help, then select Visit the Help Center.

2. Find the Let Us Know link

   On the left panel, click Manage Your Account, then choose Deactivating, Deleting and Memorializing Accounts. Under the Deleting Accounts heading, click How Do I Permanently Delete My Account? Click the Let Us Know phrase at the end of the first paragraph.

3. Delete your account

   After deciding if you want to copy your Facebook information, click Delete My Account.
