How do you find a dentist in the TRDP network?

Use the TRICARE Retiree Dental Program, or TRDP, online dentist directory to locate participating network dentists. This free resource includes handy tools to facility the search process in finding network dentists within the user's immediate area, notes Delta Dental on its TRDP Network website.

As of 2015, there are 1.4 million TRDP members throughout the United States, notes TRICARE. This preferred provider organization benefit program has over 200,000 participating network dental care facilities across the country, including the U.S. territories Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

Finding a certified TRDP dentist from any of these locations is a quick and easy process. It should be noted that text fields marked with a red asterisk require an input from the user.

1. Navigate to TRDP's dentist directory

Open a Web browser and go to the TDRP dentist directory.

2. Select dental specialty

Click on the drop-down icon under "Select a SPECIALTY" to access a list of options. Click on the preferred dental specialty.

3. Provide information

Indicate the distance coverage, full address or just the ZIP code when using the "Search By LOCATION" option. Input the dentist's name or the clinic's business name when using the "Search By NAME" option. Include the state for both dentist name and business name.

4. Submit the query

Click on the "Search" button to proceed to the results page.
