Some of the most developed African countries include Seychelles, Libya and Algeria. As of 2015, the continent has 54 countries and over a billion people.

Seychelles has met most of the Millenium Development Goals. The country has a high-quality infrastructure, including six airports with paved runways. It is also the richest country in Africa.

Libya has several educational exchange programs with European and American universities and colleges. Its average life expectancy is 75 years. The government successfully invested in quality housing projects that benefits the population.

Algeria's healthy economy helped it to increase spending and offer grants and retroactive salary increases to its citizens.
