What devices are used to charge lithium batteries?

Some lithium chargers include the IntelliPort charger upgrade kit and the Tenergy smart universal charger. Other chargers are the XTAR XP1 Li-ion/NiMH/NiCD charger and the Tenergy TB6B multifunctional balance charger. Many universal chargers are designed to work with lithium-ion batteries, though dedicated chargers are more efficient in charging specific batteries.
A Li-ion charger is used to charge lithium batteries, as it is a device designed to limit voltage outputs like lead acid systems. The Li-ion system features a higher voltage count per individual cells, resulting in a tighter voltage tolerance and stops on wasted charge when the battery reaches a full charge.
