Atlanta-based meteorologist Alexandra Steele and her husband had a baby girl in 2009 while she was employed by The Weather Channel. After she was let go from The Weather Channel, Steele later moved to CNN.

Originally from Albany, New York, Alexandra Steele began her career as a meteorologist in Washington D.C. before appearing on "Good Morning America" and "PrimeTime Live" on ABC. She then moved to The Weather Channel, where in 2009 she began co-anchoring "Weather Center" with Jim Cantore. Steele then went on to become an on-camera meteorologist on CNN before returning to The Weather Channel in late 2014.
