When did Billy Graham's wife die?

Billy Graham's wife, Ruth Graham, passed away June 14, 2007 at the age of 87. She had degenerative osteoarthritis of the back and neck that left her bedridden, and finally comatose, in her North Carolina home.

Ruth was born June 20, 1920 in northern China to Presbyterian missionaries Dr. Lemuel Nelson Bell and Virginia Leftwich. She met Billy at Wheaton College, and the two were married in 1943. Despite Billy being a Baptist minister, Ruth remained a devout Presbyterian throughout her entire life. They had five children: Virginia, Anne, Ruth, William Franklin III and Nelson. She was buried at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte.
