Did Giada DeLaurentis get a divorce recently?

Todd Thompson filed for divorce from Giada de Laurentiis on Dec. 30, 2014. The divorce filing claimed the couple had separated on July 15 of that year. In September 2015, the couple's divorce became official.

Thompson and de Laurentiis married on May 25, 2003, and had one child together. The court documents finalizing the divorce also ordered de Laurentiis to pay Thompson $9,000 dollars per month for child support. De Laurentiis was also ordered to pay Thompson 50 percent of all net book royalties for any works publishing during their marriage, and 50 percent of the unpaid advances to cookbooks that she has yet to publish, a total estimated at around $5 million.
