Where did Isaac Newton go to college?

Isaac Newton went to college at Trinity College, Cambridge in Cambridge, England. Newton attended college from 1661 to 1665 and received his bachelor's degree. He planned on continuing his education at Trinity College, but had to return home temporarily when the school shut down because of the plague.
After two years, Trinity College reopened and Newton returned to complete his master's degree receiving a fellowship. He eventually took up permanent residence in Cambridge. While at Trinity College, Newton studied mathematics, optics, physics and astronomy. Newton eventually became a professor of mathematics at his alma mater, but also published works on alchemy, history and theology.
