When did Jimmy Carter die?

As of November of 2014, former president Jimmy Carter is not dead. Carter was born on October 1, 1924 and was the United States' 39th president.

Carter went to school in his hometown of Plains, Georgia, and also attended Georgia Southwestern College and Georgia Institute of Technology. He served as a lieutenant in the army and was involved in a nuclear submarine program. He resigned after the death of his father in 1953. He was involved in the family peanut-farming business before serving two terms in the Georgia Senate and a term as the state's governor. He was elected as the U.S president in 1977. During his administration, he made efforts to bring Israel and Egypt together at Camp David.
