It was announced that Lis Wiehl was getting a divorce from her husband Mickey Sherman in 2012. Wiehl married Sherman in June 2006 in Old Greenwich, Connecticut. This was the second marriage for both Wiehl and Sherman. Lis has two children, a daughter and a son, from her first marriage.

Lis Wiehl is best known for her work as a legal analyst for Fox News. She has also taught law at the University of Washington Law School and as of March 2015 is an adjunct professor at New York Law School. Wiehl is also an author, and provides legal commentary for Bill O'Reilly, Fox News and other media outlets.
