When did Charlie Crist get divorced?

Charlie Crist, former Florida governor, was married in July of 1979 to Amanda Morrow and divorced within a year. Crist has since remarried. His spouse, as of 2015, is Carole Rome, whom he married on December 12, 2008.

Before holding the title of Florida governor from 2007 to 2011, Crist also held a position as Florida senator, commissioner of education and attorney general for the State of Florida. He began his political career as a Republican, but has since switched to the Independent Party and, most recently, the Democratic Party.

Crist still resides in Florida with his wife, Carole Rome. The couple have no children together.
