Paul Dirac and Erwin Schrodinger discovered new productive forms of atomic theory. Both men shared a Nobel Prize in Physics in 1933 for this discovery. Atomic theory consists of many different ways of explaining the structure and behavior of all the aspects of the atom.
Paul Dirac offered many contributions in the areas of quantum mechanics and quantum electrodynamics. Other notable accomplishments of Paul Dirac include formulating the Dirac Equation, as well as his time spent teaching physics and mathematics at several universities. At the time of his death in 1984, his achievements made him one of the top physicists of the 20th century.
