Did Rosa Parks have any children?

Rosa and Raymond Parks had no children. They were married from 1932 until Raymond's death in 1977. Rosa was a civil rights activist and is best-known for her involvement in the Montgomery Bus Boycott.

On December 1, 1955, Rosa refused to give up her seat to a white man on a Montgomery bus. She was arrested for breaking the Alabama segregation law and ordered to pay a $10 fine. She refused. Despite the great inconvenience it caused African Americans in the community, they stood together, and with Martin Luther King, Jr. as their leader, they boycotted the bus system for 381 days. The U.S. Supreme Court later ruled the segregation laws unconstitutional.
