Did Sean Murray lose weight?

Sean Murray explained on his Twitter page that he had intentionally lost weight by quitting alcohol, eating organic foods and shunning most sugars. He added that he had lost 25 pounds. Sean Murray has played Special Agent Timothy McGee in the TV series "NCIS" since November 2003.

Murray allayed fears that his weight loss was due to sickness by explaining that his weight loss was not abrupt. He attributed it to some lifestyle changes that enabled him to lose 25 pounds. He further claimed that his gradual weight loss is evident through season seven of "NCIS." A relative of Murray's added that Murray had quit smoking.
