Sir Isaac Newton never married and did not have any children. According to Biography.com, the English mathematician and physicist, who was known for his law of gravitation, died on March 31, 1727, at the age of 85.
Although Sir Isaac Newton was a celebrated and wealthy scientist whose theories were unchallenged in his lifetime, according to Biography.com, his personal life left much to be desired. When he died at the age of 85, Newton was living with his niece, Catherine (Bancroft) Conduitt, and her husband, John Conduitt. He never married nor had any children, and the few friends he had sometimes questioned his mental stability.
