When did the Xbox 360 come out?

The Xbox 360 debuted in 2005. It was released on different dates in different countries, starting with the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico on Nov. 22, 2005.

The release dates continued into December, when it came out in Japan, the United Kingdom and most of Europe. There were several countries where the console did not come out for a few more years; Russia waited until 2007, and the Xbox 360 did not come out in Peru or the United Arab Emirates until 2008.

Microsoft's original Xbox consoles first came out in North America in 2001, followed by the console's release in Europe and Australia in 2002.
