What is the difference between peanut butter and jam?
By Forinfos - 17/08/2025 - 0 comments
Peanut butter consists of ground, roasted peanuts that are turned into a soft spread, and jam is made by boiling various fruits with sugar and crushing them mildly. The two ingredients are often combined on bread.
In North America, it's common to spread a layer of peanut butter and a layer of jam on two pieces of bread and combine them to make a sandwich. Both ingredients can also be spread on one slice of bread, which is then folded in half.
Two tablespoons each of peanut butter and grape jelly spread on white bread provides 22 percent of a person's recommended daily calorie intake, and 27 percent of their daily fat needs.
